SUMMARY

The Brooklyn Nets are a seeking a Manager, Membership Sales responsible for managing and driving the sale of traditional ticket sales verticals, including season tickets, partial plans, and sales enablement while developing and growing the Membership Sales team.

The Manager, Membership Sales will report to the Director of Business Development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead the day-to-day oversight of the Membership Sales team.
  • Research, develop, and implement sales and service best practices for sales teams within the Ticketing department; conducts regularly scheduled trainings for the Membership Sales team.
  • Assist in the strategic development and execution of all new sales ticketing verticals: Fulls, Halves, and Mini Plans.
  • Build an outstanding Pre-Onboarding and Onboarding strategy to set newest team members up for success.
  • Determine processes and measurement tools for Account Executives to accurately record opportunity touchpoints, including but not limited to outbound calls, in-person meetings, and individual prospecting.
  • Monitor team members' daily, weekly, and monthly activities and revenue; review and maintain accurate documentation of outreach and sales activity in CRM system.
  • Collaborates with the Ticketing leadership team to achieve excellence.
  • Assists in the developing of sales and marketing strategies for ticket packages, sales contests, and sales campaigns.
  • Attend all Brooklyn Nets games and other internal and external events, including Membership Experience events, as assigned.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to all fans.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals established by leadership.
  • Invest in the professional and personal wellbeing of your team members.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work irregular and long work hours; the Manager, Membership Sales is expected to attend all Brooklyn Nets home games as well as other team events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Archtics and Salesforce experience a plus.
  • At least 5 years of sport sales experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE

$80,000 - $90,000 base compensation

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend all Brooklyn Nets home games as well as other team events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
