Position Description: The Ticket Operations Coordinator focuses and assists with the operational and administrative aspects of ticketing for the College Football Playoff. The person holding this position will coordinate ticket operations, Playoff Premium ticketing, and other related responsibilities.
 
Supervised by: Director of Premium and Ticket Sales Operations
 
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for CFB Playoff ticket system of record.
  • Coordinates the management and analysis of data from the ticketing system.
  • Responsible for processing and reconciling ticket transactions for CFB Playoff, CFP Bowl Games, and Playoff Premium.
  • Responsible for the management of event manifests, ticket types and prices, ticket distribution, ticket fulfillment, and venue access management for CFB Playoff events, including coordination with all third-party vendors and ticketing consultants
  • Coordinate and provide customer service and support for CFB Playoff Ticket Operations.
  • Work with the Director of Premium and Ticket Sales Operations to create customer education, experience, service standards, educational materials, and best practices.  
  • Will act as point person responsible for providing customer service to all constituents.
  • Work with a ticketing software company to install, train, and monitor a call center to be used during the CFB Playoff.
  • Coordinate data uploads and imports for the CFB Playoff Ticket system of record.
  • Manage and reconcile the Playoff Premium ticket operations program
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Skills and Qualifications:  
·         Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
·         One or more years of applicable ticket system experience required
·         Ability to manage, prioritize, and bring multiple projections to completion required
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
·         Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research matters
·         Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing college sports environment required
·         Ability to work under pressure and autonomously required
·         Self-motivation required
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, required
·         Flexibility to work long hours including evenings and weekends during November, December, and                    January required
·         Available for travel on CFP business as needed.

About the College Football Playoff: The College Football Playoff (CFP) is the event that crowns the national champion in college football. The CFP Selection Committee ranks the top 25 teams at the end of the season, and the 12 playoff participants consist of the six highest-ranked conference champions, plus the next six highest-ranked teams. The four highest-ranked conference champions will be seeded one through four and receive a first-round bye. The schools seeded five through eight will host those seeded nine through 12 in first-round games. The quarterfinals and semifinals rotate annually among six bowl games – the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, Capital One Orange Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential, and the Allstate Sugar Bowl. This year’s quarterfinals will take place on Dec. 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025, while the semifinals will be January 9-10, 2025.  The College Football Playoff National Championship will be Monday, January 20, 2025, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
