We're actively seeking to hire for an unpaid internship in the academics unit here at Central Michigan University Athletics!
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Student-Athlete Services staff in carrying out internal operations of the Dick Enberg Academic Center.
- Interns will assist the Student-Athlete Services staff in various tasks related to the academic performance and enrichment of student-athlete as well as administrative duties.
- Assists with the planning and execution of the wholistic student-athlete experience and development programming that includes personal development, professional/career development, leadership development, and community engagement.
- Implement comprehensive educational programming specifically for at-risk student-athletes in a 1:1 setting.
- Interns would meet with assigned student-athletes multiple times per week in effort to cover reading comprehension, writing skills, note taking, and test taking strategies.
