Farm programming through Brownfield Ag News relays timely information to more than 500 audio partners throughout key agricultural states.

In addition to news services, LEARFIELD’s Interaction division offers advertising on a variety of traditional and digital platforms to help clients amplify and share their message to highly targeted audiences. Our knowledgeable team works from strategic planning to evaluation in supporting clients’ marketing objectives.

 

Position Summary

The Digital Advertising Manager is part of operations and managers and leads the Digital Marketing team in providing fulfillment, reporting and analysis for marketing campaigns. This role leads a team to define objectives, priorities and deadlines required to meet short term goals and objectives and is responsible for the success of each team member. 

 

Core Position Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads the digital marketing function through more complex projects and initiatives.
  • Develops, executes and leads the digital marketing strategy of internal communication plans.
  • Develops and maintains advanced stakeholder relationships and serves as an experienced advisor to the marketing team, leadership and clients on digital marketing strategy topics.
  • Participates in cross-functional meetings, bringing a more specialized digital advertising  perspective.
  • Provides and leads digital team members in ideation for increasing client brand awareness and engagement across a variety of marketing platforms through content development and distribution
  • Develop marketing collateral, including case studies, proposals, RFP responses, and talking points for sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify current trends and opportunities for expansion
  • Develop case studies and actively share written and verbal summaries of campaign performance and other insights
  • Serve as the internal and client resource for digital marketing strategy and actively identify new advertising opportunities that fit client needs
  • Provide copywriting and web design/maintenance for a variety of internal and client projects
  • Schedule/implement, manage and optimize social media and digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop campaign performance reports and track when adjustments need to occur to meet campaign impressions
  • Oversee social media accounts for various division entities
  • Provide digital support for news staff
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Position Skills/Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in advertising or closely related field.
  • 4+ years experience in digital advertising and managing employees.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with programmatic display, paid social, and/or paid search
  • Must be familiar with the business applications of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and more
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Office
  • Some experience developing ad graphics, editing video and audio
  • Excellent grasp of digital and social media advertising principals
  • Solid knowledge of marketing research, statistical analysis, and ability to compute basic media math
  • Proficiency in web design and knowledge of WordPress web hosting platform
