This position will work as a business liaison with others across the organization to drive key financial planning processes such as forecasting, budgeting, data aggregation, and analytics and will support the implementation and enforcement of internal controls.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Create and distribute a variety of monitoring tools such as labor reports, cost of sales analyses, and profit and loss statements and offer suggestions for operational and/or financial improvement based on this analysis.*

  • Identify opportunities for performance and process improvement through the use of reporting tools and automation.*

  • Actively participate in the budget planning cycle as well as routine forecasting projections.*

  • Analyze financial results and explain variances to both budget and prior year benchmarks. Assist management in identifying opportunities for financial improvement and cost reduction.*

  • Evaluate revenue and expense trends and report projected results to management.*

  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • 18 years of age or older.

  • Bachelor’s degree - Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality Management

  • Relevant work experience can be substituted for education - 4 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge/experience working with advanced functions of Excel and Google Sheets, as well as other Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.  

  • Detail oriented and organized.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
