Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.
The purpose of this job is to support the trash and recycling pickup function for the Entertainment Complex.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Assist the full-time Utility Staff on the garbage truck*
Assist in other Utility Departments when not working on the garbage truck*
Assist with recycling by emptying the recycling trucks into the cardboard baler*
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Job Demands:
Shifts include 4:00am - 12:00pm (noon) during the the operational season
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Work is almost exclusively outdoors.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Physically able to repetitively get on and off the back of the garbage truck
Physically able to balance and hold on to the back of the garbage truck
