Action-packed Hershey Bears® hockey games, thrilling live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind events are a day in the life of our Hersheypark Entertainment Complex team members at Hersheypark, Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, or Hershey Theatre

This position is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and courteous service in all retail outlets at the GIANT Center to achieve the department’s goals for the year. This position is seasonal during the Hershey Bears hockey season.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Serve as front-line team member, assisting in all GIANT Center retail outlets as the business warrants

  • Provide exceptional guest service within your assigned store location, including entering sales into POS system for a positive checkout experience

  • Answer guest inquiries, in person and over the phone in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality with guest information

  • Exhibit thorough product knowledge and upselling techniques to guests

  • Maintain store appearance standards to ensure the store is stocked and assist in other inventory management tasks as needed

  • Resolve immediate guest concerns, partnering with lead staff when needed to prevent recurring guest service issues

  • Identify safety and maintenance related issues and relay these concerns to store leadership to ensure they are addressed

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older at time of application

  • One year of retail/customer service experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven guest relations, problem solving, task management skills, and organizational skills preferred

  • Professional and effective communication skills

  • Must be able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines 

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Required to work 70% of hockey games each month throughout the hockey season

  • Must be able to work in combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions

  • Physical requirements include standing (75-100% of the shift), sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 lbs. with assistance, finger dexterity and communicating effectively
