Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.

Paid Parking Attendants are responsible for collecting parking fees and validating parking passes upon guest arrival at the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.

Job Functions:

  • Collect payment for parking via cash, credit, or gift card and issue appropriate change and parking ticket 

  • Verify prepaid parking and other passes

  • Maintain accurate vehicle counts

  • Provide a safe and friendly atmosphere to guests and team members

  • Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to, the use of personal protective equipment, lifting, and reporting of unsafe situations 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age on the date of applying

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines 

  • Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other team members and be able to interact with guests

  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times

  • Must be detail-oriented and have clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be comfortable handling and safeguarding large amounts of cash

  • Must be comfortable working with basic technology (i.e. computer and credit card machine)

  • Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements 

Job Demands:

  • Physical requirements include the ability to walk, sit for up to 5 hours, bend at the waist and knees, have repeated manual dexterity, and lift up to ten  (10) pounds without assistance

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Team members must work a minimum of eight (8) hours every two pay periods in order to stay an active employee

  • Must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
