Summary:  

We are seeking a Prep Cook, with the aim of building and enhancing our Nutrition Services team.  The Prep Cook is primarily responsible for preparing and cooking all items for meal services, in addition to other kitchen duties, such as cleaning, restocking, and receiving orders. 

 

Primary Job Duties:

The Prep Cook will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following:  

  • Assist in preparing and cooking meals for Football and Business Operations.
  • Manage daily prep list and tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure a positive and seamless workday and meal service.
  • Assist with various projects including attending 4-week Cardinals Training Camp (located in Litchfield Park, AZ).
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Education: Culinary school certification, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: One (1) year kitchen experience required, preference for three years experience
  • Willingness to learn and to engage with all levels of the Nutrition Services team
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to all team related matters and information.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being able to be collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Experience supporting a healthy culture within an organization where employees feel valued, engaged, and united toward the common goals of championship-level performance.
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities that require strong time management, decision-making capabilities and flexibility.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Can communicate effectively with all individuals across the organization.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail required.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs.
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
