The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a highly motivated Events Coordinator to fill a full-time position supporting the Manager of Events in developing and executing events, including gameday, that support the team's overall business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all planning, execution, and promotion for the following events and programs:
    • For the Boo: Halloween Party
    • Training Camp Volunteer Appreciation Event
    • Culinary Showcase
    • Gameday Concourse Entertainment
  • Support in the planning and execution of all Colts tentpole events, including but not limited to:
    • NFL Draft
    • Training Camp
    • Colts 5K
    • Colts Kickoff Luncheon
    • Watch Parties
  • Manage updates on Event-specific pages on Colts.com
  • Manage giveaway inventory and requests for the Events team
  • Manage photo activations and software for the Events team, including requests and staffing
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute promotional plans for Events they oversee
  • Collaborate with Creative and Content team to develop signage, branding and other print/digital assets for all events
  • Coordinate Register To Win Fulfillment for various programs and events
  • Assist with managing event equipment inventory, including regular maintenance
  • Assist with management of Marketing Vehicles
  • Handle administrative tasks for the Events Department (calls, mailings, e-mails, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four (4) year degree in Sports Marketing, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in event management, marketing in the sports industry preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and think quickly on one’s feet using independent judgment
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Knowledge of social and digital media strategies
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, work outside in all elements if necessary
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, including all home games and tentpole events listed above
