Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
Individual is responsible for helping achieve overall ticket sales and attendance goals. Responsible for ticket sales revenue and game day box office operations, cash control, event management and third-party vendor relations. Primary focus is on Season and Group Ticket sales as well as day-to-day supervision of ticketing staff.
Duties: 
  • Serve as key member of the ticket sales department focusing on season and group ticket sales. 
  • Serve as a leader among the sales team providing sales motivation within the staff and developing creative ideas to increase sales. 
  • Direct the work of full and part-time sales staff and interns. 
  • Train new employees and interns. 
  • Prepare work schedules and assign specific duties within the department. Responsible for prospecting new customers.
  •  Must be able to work some nights and weekends as necessary. 
  • Provide quality customer service. 
  • Assist in database management. 
  • Staff ticket sales tables at outside events when needed. 
  • Develop relationships with current clients for referral leads. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that the ticket department is run in an efficient manner. 
  • Assist in managing the overall team sales effort including new and renewal accounts.  
  • Provide accurate and timely reports regarding daily and weekly ticket sales. 
  • Oversee all aspects of season ticket invoicing and will be responsible for any issues related to seating. 
  • Order all season ticket books and plan/manage the distribution to season ticket holders. 
  • Oversee the ticket box office on game-nights ensuring operation is run efficiently, while focusing on customer service and accuracy.  
  • Act as liaison to ticket holders and management. 
Qualifications/Skills:
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster system is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of basic accounting, record keeping, reconciliation and audit practices and procedures. 
  • Excellent supervisory and team management skills.  
  • Knowledge of event marketing, promotions and advertising.  
  • Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and follow-through with assignments.  
  • Ability to initiate, lead, plan and direct the work of department.  
  • Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff.  
  • Skill in resolving problems with clients and with staff.
