Summary:

The Head of Integrated Media will oversee all strategy and execution for owned, earned and paid media, including influencer marketing across all lines of business (Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and Hard Rock Stadium). They will work to align strategies with each business unit’s brand platform and KPIs, integrate all media buying, and lead the development of a team to improve on core competencies and processes around content creation and channel distribution. This role will lead the organization’s understanding and implementation of emerging media channels across the entire funnel (Traditional Media, Digital Media, CTV, digital OOH, social, partnerships, influencers) in order to build and reinforce our brands in the marketplace.

Location:

This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and lead the overall strategy, planning and execution of integrated media plans, including owned, earned, paid.
  • Build and drive deep channel expertise within the marketing organization
  • Test and learn new channels and innovate to optimize the media mix for each business unit
  • Work with creative director and creative teams to develop and deliver channel right creative, and build rigor around KPIs: determine primary KPIs and drive teams to optimize against them
  • Manage budgets and maintain accountability for results across business units including the Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and Hard Rock Stadium
  • Collaborate with Comms and PR teams to deliver influencer and social campaigns that generate buzz and positively impact brand sentiment
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers who connect with the organization’s target audiences, embody our brand values, and create authentic and engaging content
  • Lead communications planning and media buying strategy across all paid channels including traditional, digital and performance media
  • Partner with E-comm and digital product teams to integrate ATL media plans with performance marketing efforts optimized for ticket sales
  • Partner with Corporate Partnerships to deliver partnership results while leveraging partners channels within our mix
  • Use KPIs and advanced metrics to drive results and provide informed recommendations and effective decision making, communicating developments to leadership re:  media mix, campaign shape, ROI, ROAS and brand strength/sentiment metrics
  • Understand the organization’s current state and layer in improvements to planning processes
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality customer generation at a positive ROI
  • Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis
  • Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization. Work with executive leadership and staff to recognize relevant internal and external opportunities; define and execute appropriate strategies to support them
  • Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign responsibility, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Hire, develop, evaluate, lead, and coach a team of full-time individuals, as well as freelancers and agencies

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of social media and/or influencer marketing and/or integrated media marketing experience, with time spent managing teams of 4+
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
  • Expertise with social media platforms including Instagram, X, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok; as well as management tools and analytics platforms including AirTable, Slate, Emplifi
  • Able to balance being proactive and forward-thinking with decisions that require quick thinking and measured reactivity
  • Exhibit a growth mindset and accountability for decision-making day-to-day
  • Analytical, technical and data literate - able to dig into tracking and metrics to distill insights and tell compelling stories using data
  • Enthusiasm for nuances of a business portfolio spanning the NFL, motorsports, tennis, and global events
  • Elite coaching, leadership, writing, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Experience serving as point of contact for multiple internal teams, vendors, tools, and systems with ability to juggle priorities of senior-level stakeholders
  • Spanish literacy a plus
