About Sugarloaf Social Club: Sugarloaf Social Club began in 2011 as a group chat amongst college roommates and has since evolved into a full-time golf goods and creative agency, working for and collaborating with some of the most beloved names in golf. Sitting at the intersection of nostalgia and whimsy, the brand’s unique perspective encourages camaraderie, exploration and personal enjoyment of the game via imaginative gatherings, a love of story-telling and an ever evolving collection of products.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Brand & Engagement Associate to join the Sugarloaf Social Club team. This role is central to building and maintaining the brand’s presence and fostering engagement within the golf community. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for the Sugarloaf brand, with a deep understanding of golf culture and a knack for cultivating meaningful relationships and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a brand voice, embodying Sugarloaf Social Club’s values and vision in all interactions, both online and offline.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the Sugarloaf community across social media platforms, forums, and events, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Customer Service & Experience: Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience with the brand.
  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing brand activations, events, and partnerships, ensuring they align with Sugarloaf’s brand identity and goals.
  • Content Collaboration: Work closely with the Content Producer to develop and share content that resonates with the community and drives brand engagement.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and collaborators who align with Sugarloaf’s brand and mission.
  • Order tracking & management: Be responsible for tracking of customer orders when needed and help create orders on customers behalf.
  • Operational support: Be the liaison to the 3PL and at times send custom shipments to customers or partners.
  • Brand Monitoring: Track and analyze brand mentions, community sentiment, and engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, social media posts, and other promotional activities.
  • Miscellaneous Activities: This role will be multifaceted and help the business where needed ranging from the above responsibilities to jumping in on various operational needs when applicable

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in brand management, community engagement, marketing, or a related field, preferably within lifestyle, sports, or golf-related brands.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse audiences.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for golf and a deep understanding of the culture and lifestyle associated with the game.
  • Creativity: Ability to contribute innovative ideas for brand engagement and community-building activities.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in social media platforms, community management tools, and basic graphic design software is a plus.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000, depending on
experience and qualifications.
