Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sales Manager (Skratch) who has established relationships with media decision makers at major brands in the U.S.; a professional and articulate self-starter with a strong knowledge of digital/social media who is passionate about golf.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reach annual sales goal; communicate progress to goal and strategies/tactics to reach revenue targets with manager
  • Develop new client list for Skratch (outside of existing PGA TOUR client roster)
  • Proactively identify and call on decision makers to build sales opportunities/pipeline
  • Perform professional presentations (pitch decks) to close revenue from targeted accounts
  • Manage all phases of the sales pipeline and recognize opportunities to drive revenue
  • Ensure Skratch becomes part of golf, sports, cultural and other relevant media RFP consideration
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships and maintain frequent contact
  • Address client queries effectively and in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records, including prospect list, sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation
  • Contribute to pre-sales ideation process including client brand integration opportunities
  • Assist in development of sales materials including, but not limited to: proposal decks, concept write-ups, RFP responses, and recap reports
  • Regularly meet with editorial team to learn of sellable concepts and understand upcoming Skratch content calendar
  • Work with cross-functional teams including sales, editorial, analytics, digital content, PGA TOUR Entertainment, legal, finance, PGA TOUR Corporate Partnerships and Title Relations teams
  • Keep up with relevant golf and social media news, updates, tools, platforms, and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years experience in a digital media or traditional media organization
  • Three years sales experience with pre-existing media agency and client relationships
  • Proactive, positive and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills – you must be able to efficiently articulate a media program to current and prospective clients
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in branded content production a plus
  • Professional and courteous to colleagues and with clients
  • A self-motivator who strives to improve and innovate on the sales offering
  • Creative mind that can contribute concepts and brand integration ideas for custom content
  • Passionate about social media with a deep understanding of the ecosystem on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X platforms
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and high-energy environment
  • Ability to deliver on a sales budget - results oriented

Location: Pro Shop has or will have offices in Los Angeles, California; Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; and New York City, New York. The Sales Manager will ideally be in one of these locations.

The salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with potential for higher OTE.
