Title: Video Editor, Skratch
Location: Pro Shop has or will have offices in Los Angeles, California; Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; and New York City, New York. This role will be based in one of those three locations.

Position Overview:
Skratch, a Pro Shop company, is seeking an experienced video editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in editing both long-form content and, more critically, short-form assets in a vertical aspect ratio. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products, including After Effects and Photoshop, is essential. As a golf-focused company, Skratch emphasizes authentic storytelling targeted at younger audiences and produces engaging, short-form satirical content. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit and create long and short form vertical editorial and sales videos from concept to completion for use on Skratch social platforms.
  • Travel to tournaments and off-course shoots to create content as needed.
  • Collaborate with other content creators, participating in regular brainstorms and pitch sessions.
  • Adhere to Skratch brand standards, strategic initiatives, and established voice across platforms.
  • Utilize available data and analytics to make or adjust programming and content decisions.
  • Work some non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Journalism, Media, or Communications preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm for innovative ideas and thinking outside the box.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure in a team environment.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work that meets brand and fan standards.
  • Prior experience updating and maintaining a brand or professional social media account.
  • Strong understanding of the current digital and social media landscape, including creating content for Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms, best practices, success metrics, and emerging platforms.
  • Design, photo, and video editing skills are a must.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Premier).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
