Youth on Course is a nonprofit organization that provides youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Private funding makes it possible for members to have access to play for $5 or less through subsidies to thousands of courses throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. Members have the opportunity to succeed through Youth on Course programs: DRIVE Club, Careers on Course, Leadership Council and College Scholarships. In addition, Youth on Course recently launched an Alumni Network which extends membership to those 19 and older. This elevated membership offers opportunities for young adults to connect at complementary events, access exclusive deals, find jobs, and much more.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Since its inception, in 2006, Youth on Course has grown from 6 course partners to more than 2,100. With roughly 10,000 public golf courses in the United States, continued expansion is critical to ensuring all youth have affordable access to golf. The Manager, Course Partnerships will play an integral role in these efforts by increasing our capacity to scale. This position will be responsible for developing a long-term strategic growth plan for golf course acquisition, solicit and negotiate agreement with golf courses, and ensuring course data and information are regularly kept up to date. Success will be based on their ability to establish new course partnerships and lead others in our collective efforts. This position will receive general guidance and is expected to work collaboratively with other members of YOC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the VP of Programs and Senior Director of Regional Affairs to implement a long-term strategic growth plan, focused on adding hundreds of new course partners annually.
  • Solicit golf facilities to partner with Youth on Course and negotiate and establish agreements with course operators, management companies, and municipalities.
  • Continuously generate a “sales” pipeline through various channels (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Utilize and maintain a detailed CRM for efficient administration and performance.
  • Regularly meet with key stakeholders to promote Youth on Course and ensure its core purpose and vision are understood and supported.
  • Provide coaching and training to the team to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Regularly audit data to ensure its integrity, highlight successes, and identify needs.
  • Work with various departments to plan and execute strategies and activities to increase engagement with new and existing course partners.
  • Attend necessary meetings, educational seminars, and other related functions.
  • Other duties as assigned, including professional development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in either sales, partnerships, or business development.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
  • Supreme organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics for multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with golf, ability to understand the sport, the importance of youth having access to it, and the opportunities it can provide.
  • Must have a valid US driver's license.
  • The ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiarity with the non-profit sector and golf.
  • Experience and proficiency with Salesforce.
  • LPGA/PGA membership may be beneficial.

WORK SCHEDULE:
  • Typically Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
  • Some late nights and weekend work may be required.
  • Travel may be required up to 35% of the time, including driving and air travel.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time, Exempt position, with an expected salary in the range of $66,500-$75,000 annually. Some clothing will be provided, with the employee expected to source and maintain a high-standard of attire at all times. Benefit package includes health, dental and vision insurance. Dependents may be added with premiums paid by the employee. Participation in the company’s 401k after one full year of employment. PTO, holidays, meals, and golf benefits also included.
