Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Sponsorship Sales Executive. This is a critical role in which the successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and selling of branded, high-impact sponsorship opportunities, and acts as a trusted representative for one of the fastest growing sports organizations in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Find, pitch, sell, and secure sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop, refine, and maintain a pipeline of client relationships.
- Research prospects and industries.
- Generate and arrange meetings with brands through networking, cold calling, and other methods of canvassing.
- Develop detailed sponsorship decks with activation ideas and concepts for brands.
- Collaborate with internal departments to discover opportunities and advise how to maximize relationships.
- Develop and maintain a forward-looking view of performance and establish a process for understanding and communicating future risks and opportunities.
- Proven experience maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinates and executes the development, delivery and presentation of proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in sponsorship sales required.
- 1-3 years of professional experience performing at high-level in a sales or start-up role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to connect with people of any background, age, etc.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Passion for sports, enjoy working with people, and have a strong desire to succeed.
- Understanding of pickleball a plus.
- Must be a dependable, flexible, and a reliable team player and have strong attention to detail.
- Consistently reflect strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings, including some nights, weekends, and holidays, and able and willing to travel to off-site events, etc., as needed.
- Be willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas.
