Human Resources: Human Resources Generalist
Candidates must be local to St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay as this is a hybrid role in the St. Petersburg office.

Summary:   
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting the Human Resources department with various administrative tasks as well as carrying out a variety of human resources programs and procedures for all WTA Tour and WTA Ventures employees. Focus will be on benefits administration, talent acquisition and management, and employee relations.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records, ensuring data accuracy through self-audits and reports.
  • Manage recruitment for WTA Tour and WTA Ventures including posting open internships and full-time roles on Teamwork, identifying candidates, scheduling interviews in collaboration with hiring managers, and preparing and sending offer letters. 
  • Enforce global WTA policies and procedures.
  • Assist with global payroll and benefits matters.
  • Manage the pre-employment and onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Upkeep of directories, org chart, headcount, job descriptions.
  • Assist with exit interviews.
  • Pull reports as needed for HR department.
  • Assists with employee relations matters.
  • Assists with administering performance reviews.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment. 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct various annual audits to ensure accuracy.
 
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of professional Human Resources experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Required Skills:
  • Experience with recruitment and onboarding.
  • Benefits and pension knowledge (open enrollment and benefits billing experience).
  • Basic payroll knowledge.
  • Experience working with an HRIS system a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Communication:  Effectively communicates using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills.  Has the ability to clearly present an idea or concept so others understand, lets others speak, and engages productively in difficult conversations while upholding our ethical values.

Position Type/Work Schedule:
Full Time, 40 hours a week. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday.

The employee is required to sit for long periods; use close/distant vision; hear using the telephone; bend at the waist and knee; communicate verbally and electronically with worldwide constituency; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
