CLUB OVERVIEW: Meadow Creek is a privately owned club located in the heart of Denver Colorado. The club was founded in 1972 and was recently purchased by a new owners group called Denver Racquets Club LLC. The club has a generous membership base of 400 racquets members and an abundance of non-members. The club currently offers extensive high quality tennis programming for both Adults and Junior tennis players. The club is one of the largest indoor facilities in the state which includes the following amenities-
 
7 Indoor Tennis Courts                       3 Outdoor Tennis Courts
2 Platform tennis Courts                     2 Indoor Pickleball Courts 
2 Padel Courts (Fall 2024)                 2 Golf Simulators (Fall 2024)
Fitness Facility                                    Group Fitness Room
 
POSITION SUMMARY: The club is seeking an energetic and passionate Racquets Professional who wants to create an exceptional customer experience for both Adult and Junior tennis players of all ages and skill levels. This is a full time, year round position working (36 hours per week) teaching tennis on court. In time with the new additions to the club this position has the opportunity to diversify and grow into a hybrid role of teaching multiple racquet sports including Pickleball, Platform Tennis and Padel.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Teach private, group lessons and club programming for adults and juniors of all abilities. 
  • Collaborate with other Racquets Professionals to create a team oriented approach to coaching.
  • Work with Racquets Directors to increase court utilization through growing existing programs and increasing the number of existing racquet sports members and guests participating at the club.
  • Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
  • Be willing to become a competent Platform Tennis, Pickleball and Padel instructor.
  • Be highly visible and report directly to the Directors of Tennis.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Be USPTA or PTR Certified Tennis Teaching Professional.
  • Experience Teaching the juniors (ROGY Pathway) and adults of all levels..
  • Proficiency with all computer programs related to the club operation. 
  • Be CPR and First Aid certified within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to pass a background check and USTA SafePlay.
  • Proficiency in tennis skills (NTRP 4.5 or higher)
  • Have the willingness to learn all racquet sports including Pickleball, Padel and Platform Tennis.
  • Must be willing to work one weekend day 
 
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
  • $80,000 - $100,000 from lessons and programs
  • Stipend towards health, dental and retirement
  • Stipend towards professional dues (USPTA or PTR)
  • Paid time off
  • Relocation assistance.
