Are you passionate about social media and sports? Are you interested in helping take our social brand to the next level? The Social Media Intern will assist the Director of  Digital & Director of Media Relations in all game-day initiatives related to the department. This position will work all 36 Fuel Home Games with office hours available throughout the week to create content and be a part of the marketing and content team. This internship runs from October 2024 to May 2025.
 
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 
  • Capture live in-game content for use on social media channels for home games
  • Assist with in-game fan interaction, including managing contests on social media
  • Contribute to fan interaction and content idea brainstorming
  • Assist in updating social media during the game as assigned
  • Create short form video content for Reels and TikTok
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:
  • Able to receive college credit for your internship
  • Must be able to work the majority of home games 
  • Must be able to work a 5-8 hour office administrative shift once every 1-2 weeks
  • Being able to stay on until season end in May is preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work effectively with little to no supervision
  • Must be able to troubleshoot in response to challenges
  • Must have excellent communication skills and act as a team ambassador with every interaction
  • Must have excellent strong personal organizational skills

*Please note: Interns are paid $50 for game day shifts, though office hours and community events are unpaid. This is not a remote opportunity, must be a local Indianapolis student that is able to receive course credit.
