The Indy Fuel are looking for a Business Administration intern to support the three teams under the Hallett Sports and Entertainment umbrella. In addition to the Indy Fuel, this intern will support Bloomington Bison Hockey and Fishers Freight Football teams.  This intern will work closely with president of the three teams on a variety of projects and gain invaluable experience regarding the business side of running sports teams.  The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. We are looking for someone with experience in an office setting and who projects a professional image.  This person must be flexible and able to maintain confidentiality. 
 
This internship would start October 1st and wrap up at the beginning of May. This opportunity is a hybrid of onsite and work from home. The ideal candidate would be able to be present in the office for at least two mornings per week and complete tasks from home as their class schedule allows.  This intern will also be expected to be available for approximately half of the Indy Fuel games from December-April.  *Must be able to receive class credit for this internship. 
 
Responsibilities:
·      Organizing meetings, including scheduling and sending reminders
·      Answering phone calls and replying to emails in a polite and professional manner
·      Provide administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing system and contacts database
·      Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials
·      Organize team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site
·      Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
 
Skills and qualifications:
·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·      Time-management skills
·      Ability to pay attention to detail
·      Organization skills
·      Ability to multitask
·      Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, etc
·      Interpersonal skills
