Position: Youth Hockey Coordinator
Department: Igloo Hockey Operations
Reports To: Director of Hockey Operations
Community First Igloo’s goal is to create transformational experiences for hockey players and their families in a fun, safe and positive learning environment. Our staff is committed to providing beginners to experienced players with age-appropriate elite programming while creating lifelong memories and friendships. We strive to grow the sport of ice hockey in Northeast Florida and seek to positively impact the Jacksonville community and hockey world.
Role - We are looking for a Youth Hockey Coordinator that wants to give back to the game, be a role model for our players and hunger to impact people's lives using the game of ice hockey as their vehicle.

Scope of Work
- Management and execution of the player pathway entry point of “Learn to Play” on and off the ice
- Management and execution of the CFHL REC program including clinics, camps, practices, coaches, game scores, schedule
- Assist with travel hockey coaching and practices
Requirements when hired
- Background Check cleared
- Safesport Certified
- Positive Coaching Alliance
- USA Hockey Certification
Recommendations
- Experience playing ice hockey and or coaching 3-5+ years
- Understanding of USA Hockey, American Development Model (ADM)
- Experience working with children (or adults if applicable)
Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
Part Time or Full Time depending on the candidate.
