The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for part-time, gameday sales associates in our Team Store. Associate will report directly to our Team Store Manager and is responsible for selling retail merchandise to fans in accordance with Mavericks customer service standards. Responsibilities include cashiering, customer service, and other retail needs.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Process customer sales utilizing point-of-sale system
- Accurately scan merchandise, accept payment, and bag merchandise
- Routinely stock merchandise and face items on shelves
- Notify Manager of any defective, mismarked, mislabeled, or damaged items
- Watch for and report any security risks to Manager
- Help customers with apparel questions, provide sizing and alternate options
- Work Mavericks home games as scheduled
- Maintain a professional appearance

- Retail sales experience preferred but not required
Work Hours
This is a part-time, in-season (October - April) position that requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays depending on game schedule. Shifts range from morning to evening and typically start 2 - 3 hours prior to game time, concluding once the game has ended and closing tasks have been completed.
