The Rapid City Rush Hockey Team is excited to announce an opening for an Entry-Level Partnership Activation Coordinator. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual eager to start a career in sports management and partnership activation. As a key member of our team, you will assist in executing partnership programs that enhance the team's visibility and engagement with fans and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Partner Relations: Assist in managing relationships with corporate partners, ensuring timely communication and addressing any needs or concerns.
  • Activation Assistance: Aid in the execution of partnership activation plans, including coordinating in-game promotions, managing sponsor signage, and helping with digital and community events.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize and execute events and promotions, ensuring all elements are aligned with partner expectations and team goals.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties related to partnership activation, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and tracking deliverables.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and game operations teams to ensure smooth integration of partnership elements into various team activities.
  • Creative Contributions: Contribute ideas for enhancing partner engagement and creating memorable experiences that align with both partner objectives and team initiatives.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in sports and the hockey industry, with a desire to learn and grow in the field of partnership activation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or project management software is a plus.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
