The South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL are seeking a detailed, high-energy, motivated and creative person to activate and bring partnerships to life during the hockey season. This role will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Partnerships team while building relationships, executing and servicing partnership assets, and providing key measurement and ROI. This is a full-time onsite position in Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities\Duties:
- Support the overall sales process in the Corporate Partnerships department. This includes assisting the Corporate Partnership Team with proposals and Season in Review creation for renewal & new business opportunities.
- Effectively create, measure and communicate value for all partnerships.
- Responsible for understanding each corporate partner’s business goals and objectives to provide ideas and solutions that enhance Stingrays partnerships.
- Coordinate sponsorship elements cross-functionally, working closely with other departments to ensure that all contractual assets are being fulfilled.
- Foster positive and strong relationships with corporate partner contacts.
- Generate ideas for new sponsorship opportunities including but not limited to in-game elements, retail promotions, events, website and media features, signage and meaningful community relations initiatives.
- Other special projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College Degree (preferably in Marketing/Sport Management) or equivalent work experience
- Prior sports industry experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Must be creative, detail oriented and highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Desire to develop a business acumen for the sports and entertainment industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
