                                                            Communications Gameday Intern

 The Gameday Communications Intern provides students or recent graduates the opportunity to work with the Marketing Department and gain hands-on experience in a working press box. This role assists both broadcast teams, the working media, promotions team, and digital marketing team. 

Hours for this role vary, but mostly on game days, which consists of nights, weekends, and some holidays.

 Essential Responsibilities:

  • Write game stories for all home and road games and post to team's official website.
  • Contribute to the team's social media efforts before, during, and after all games, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Support Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Specialist with team and in-game experiences during home games.
Qualifications/Skills:

  • Current enrollment or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Broadcast Production, or related field.
  • Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to execute a number of tasks at the same time and working well under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of hockey.
  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
