About the Role:

Your Focus as a member of the Part-Time Events Team: 

• Assist with the setup, execution and tear down of various Rogers Place and ICE District events
• Support the Event Operations department in implementing event requirements
• Skating on ice during pregame ceremonies, intermission activations, and post-game as needed
• Assisting corporate events as an on-ice marshal
• Deliver memorable experiences for hockey fans at home games and events throughout the community
• Execute in-game promotions and concourse activations during Oilers and Oil Kings games
• Organize and prepare all promotions and prizing according to game scripts
• Set up and tear down all site equipment, props and promotional items
• Assist with various duties in the outdoor venues; ICE District Plaza & Fan Park
• Organize kids and groups during events, including pre & post-game hockey experiences
• Assist and monitor capacity at entrance and exit points across venues
• Other on-ice duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Experience working in an entertainment venue or arena will be considered an asset
• Experience in Event Management would be considered an asset

• The ability to skate is strongly recommended, but not required, in this role

• Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including a Criminal Record Check
