Job Description:
The Motor City Rockers are seeking an Intern for the Fall & Spring 24-25 semesters. During the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to work in multiple departments within the organization. These include Game Day Operations, Merchandise, Sponsorships, Marketing, and Ticket Sales. This team member will be provided with hands-on experience in the spectator sports industry. Hiring multiple candidates.
Essential Job Functions:
- Attend all home games and arrive 3 hours prior for set-up
- Help plan and execute theme nights
- Learn and obtain game day script
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
- Assist with performance groups including anthem singers, intermission acts, and other on-ice activities
- Attend office hours during the week to gain experience in Ticket Sales, Corporate Fulfillment, Social Media Management, Business Administration, Marketing, and more.

This is an unpaid/college credit internship position for those in need of experience to fulfill academic requirements. Meals on game days and uniforms are provided throughout the season. We also accept applications from recent college graduates looking to get additional experience. The goal for those who accept this position is to give them real-world learning experiences and allow them an educational environment where they will learn and hone skills within a professional workplace.
