The St. Louis Blues Street Team is group of charismatic and knowledgeable brand ambassadors who represent the St. Louis Blues organization at schools, events, and Blues home games. The Street Team engages with the community to promote overall awareness of the Blues brand and the sport of hockey. The Street Team is the face of the Blues throughout the Greater St. Louis area and is a vital role to growing the game of hockey.

Who is the Blues Street Team:
  • The Street Team is the front line of Blues representation in the community, acting as a first impression to the Blues brand while executing events throughout the St. Louis area. 
  • These include, but are not limited to, school visits, youth hockey events/programs, festivals, fan activations, and more.
  • The goal of these individuals is to build and grow the Blues community involvement by engaging and connecting with current and future fans.

 Street Team Responsibilities:
  • The main responsibility of the Street Team is to execute the Street Blues Program at schools and fan activations at a variety of events. 
  • While most events are standalone, there is one program that the Street Team leads every week during the school year: The Street Blues Program 
  • Through the Street Blues Program, the Street Team will promote and grow youth hockey in the St. Louis area by teaching the fundamentals skills of hockey to students at each school.
  • Members are responsible for providing the schools and students with a fun and memorable time while learning about hockey.
  • During Blues home games, the Street Team is responsible for various youth hockey related activations and programs, including set up and clean up. 
  • At all applicable events, Street Team will be responsible for engaging with current and future fans through inflatable activations such as Slapshot, Bungee, and Obstacle Course.
  • The Street Team is responsible for set up, take down, and transport of all required elements (inflatables, speakers, tents, pop-ups, backdrops, street hockey equipment, props, etc.) at all events and school visits.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Must have a high school diploma, current college student or recent graduate preferred. 
  • Must be knowledgeable about the sport, enjoy being active, and like working with kids.
  • Must have reliable transportation options to get to all work-related events.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for an extended amount of time.
  • Must live in the Greater St. Louis area.
  • Must be available to provide us with 50% work availability each month.
  • Must have a flexible schedule (able to work unusual/long hours, including evenings and weekends)
  • Must be able to work both Street Blues visits and other events.
  • Must be able to operate a company pick up truck/van. 

Work Settings:
  • Must be comfortable with a multitude of work environments: 
  • Indoor and outdoor events. 
  • Schools throughout the Greater St. Louis area.
  • Enterprise Center and other arena-like settings.
  • Understand that these will include both hot and cold temperatures, as well as various crowd sizes.

Salary: $15.00 Hourly
