Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Fan Experience Intern to join our team for the upcoming 2024-25 season. This internship is designed for college students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in the sports industry, particularly in fan engagement and event management.
Responsibilities
- Fan Engagement: Assist in creating and implementing fan engagement activities during games and events.
- Game Day Operations: Support the execution of game day operations, including setting up fan zones, managing giveaways, and coordinating in-game promotions.
- Event Planning: Help plan and execute special events such as fan meet-and-greets, autograph sessions, and community outreach programs.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to fans, addressing their questions and concerns promptly.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and distribute promotional materials.
- Social Media: Assist in creating content for social media platforms to enhance fan engagement and promote upcoming events.
- Data Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from fans to improve future events and experiences.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for sports and fan engagement.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Must be available for all home games
