Job Summary: The New Jersey Titans are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Public Address (PA) Announcer to join our game-day team. The PA Announcer will be responsible for playing music and delivering clear, engaging, and professional announcements during home games and special events, enhancing the overall fan experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Game Announcements: Provide live commentary and announcements during Titans’ home games, including player introductions, goals, penalties, and other in-game events.
- Operate Music: Produce a fun and exciting game atmosphere by playing music during breaks in play and intermissions.
- Fan Engagement: Engage with fans through energetic and entertaining announcements, promoting a lively and exciting atmosphere.
- Event Coordination: Work closely with the game-day operations team to ensure smooth execution of all in-game promotions, sponsor acknowledgments, and special presentations.
- Script Adherence: Follow provided scripts and guidelines while also being able to ad-lib when necessary to maintain the flow of the game.
- Technical Coordination: Operate PA system and ensure all equipment is functioning properly before and during events.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the New Jersey Titans positively at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a PA Announcer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and strong speaking voice.
- Energy and Enthusiasm: High energy level and the ability to engage and excite a large audience.
- Adaptability: Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations during live events.
- Team Player: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the game-day operations team.
- Availability: Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the Titans’ game schedule.
