JOB DESCRIPTION: 
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Professional Women’s Hockey League's Minnesota Frost as a Team Services Manager. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, positive and resilient to join our Minnesota Frost team.  As a valued member of the Hockey Operations Team, the Team Services Manager will be responsible for establishing a professional level of care for the players, coaches, and hockey operations staff, ensuring that all needs are met to enable the highest level of performance in the Minnesota Frost market.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fully understand and implement CBA requirements for player appearances, travel and training services for players.
  • Manage game travel itineraries and logistics for all players and staff. Includes coordinating and creating travel manifests for transportation, accommodations, food, and miscellaneous items.
  • Act as primary contact for the travel agency and all other travel vendors. Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions.
  • Arrange and provide pre- and post- training and game day meals.
  • Order and coordinate delivery and setup of training-day and game-day player snacks.
  • Develop and deliver visiting team welcome package, providing all information needed about home venue, entrances, locker rooms, ticket office, places to eat, places to stay, etc.
  • Securely maintain key player information for record such as passport, driver's license, and key contact information.
  • Manage transition/relocation of new players, including housing, travel and other transition services.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to create and distribute team schedules including player practices, games and meetings.
  • Track player and staff expenses for road games and submit team expense reports.
  • Manage purchases within budget and report budget vs. actual variances for team services expenditures.
  • Coordinate with community relations team to confirm player availability for community events
  • Ensure player appearances align to CBA rules.
  • Coordinate with Business Operations team to supply prize and memorabilia requests for appearances and other events.
  • Assist with special team events, promotional activities, and sponsor-related functions.
  • Oversee cleanliness of player and staff lounge areas.

 QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a hockey operations or administration role
  • Knowledge of performance needs for professional athletes
  • Knowledge of game day operations, including team and ice-level requirements
  • Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter
  • Excellent standards of professionalism, especially when interacting with athletes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under various pressures
  • Candidate must be extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Available to work all home games in market including evenings and weekends
  • Available to travel to all away games with the team, which could be via plane, car or bus.
  • Adhere to all PWHL service standards and policies including Health & Safety while working in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
