PAY RATE:                The pay rate for this role is $21.75 per hour - (SEIU Local 1877- Salary Schedule)

Position Overview:
As a part-time Parking Attendant, you are often the first point of contact for guests coming to events by overseeing the arrival and parking of guests using our parking lots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consistently greet guests as they approach
  • Cashier and sell parking tickets
  • Keep parking area clean and orderly
  • Control admission to the parking lots by checking credentials
  • Set up and tear down cones and delineators for traffic control on every shift
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests by answering questions and concern

Shift Information 
  • Shifts are event-based with start times typically being two to four hours prior to the event and ending one-hour after an event.
  • You must be available to work 2/3rds of the scheduled events for each month including weekends. Most shifts are evenings and weekends with some holidays.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to wear SSE assigned uniform during all shifts 
  • Must clear background check.
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to work with people of all ages.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to operate, transport, and manipulate certain equipment up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to walk for long stretches of time throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time inside and outside.
