Facility Operations/Event Staff: Operations
The Pensacola Ice Flyers are seeking responsible, enthusiastic individuals to work alongside Game Operations staff in executing game-day duties and providing efficient and positive customer service experience for the 2024-25 season. Game Day Staff can expect to gain resume-building, real-world skills in event marketing, management, fundraising and production. Game Day Operations positions will run from October 14, until the end of the season. Game Day Operations Staff are paid on a per-game and per-event basis. 
 
Parking Specialist 
Parking Specialists are responsible for selling parking spots, checking the authenticity of parking passes as prepaid vehicles enter the parking lot, and assisting in directing vehicles to their proper location and parking space during inbound traffic flow during all Ice Flyers events. Team members must properly handle and avoid damages to handheld devices issued for credit card transactions. 
 
Guest Experience Representative
Guest Experience Representatives interact with guests at Ice Flyers Events to ensure the highest level of customer service is being provided to enhance the fan experience. Responsibilities include answering guests’ questions and taking ownership in resolving and following through on all customer service issues, collecting and logging data regarding the fan experience and maintaining a working knowledge of Ice Flyers operations and procedures to effectively assist with general question. 
 
Raffle Sales Associate
Raffle Representatives enthusiastically promote and sell 50/50 jackpot and raffle tickets to fans who are 18 years of age or older at home Ice Flyers Games. Responsibilities include coordinating set up, clean up and management of raffle kiosks, engaging fans pre-game and in-game to spread awareness of all in-game raffle opportunities and properly handling and avoiding handheld devisees issued for credit card transactions. 
 
Replay Operator 
The Replay Operator will work together with directors and producers during the video board production using the 3Play system to create packages that encapsulate the story of the game and show multiple camera angles of a hockey play to the fans when prompted.
 
Sound Operator
The Sound Operator will operate, monitor, and adjust audio levels of multiple inputs including but not limited to wireless mics, graphics computer audio, and music. The Sound Operator is also in charge of selecting pre-loaded songs from an organized music bank that enhances the fan experience during the game.
 
Qualifications 
  • Must be punctual and self-motivated; 
  • Time commitment: 3-4 hours total per game depending on position;
  • Customer service experience preferred;
  • High attention to detail; 
  • Ability to address, adapt to, and overcome challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; 
  • Reliable transportation.
