 INTERNSHIP SUMMARY  
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, American Hockey League affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are seeking a Video Production Intern for the 2024-25 hockey season.  
 
As part of the Phantoms Creative Department, the Video Production Intern will report to the Senior Manager of Game Presentation and work closely with the Digital/Video Content Producer to help develop and execute projects, utilizing creativity and video production/post-production skills. They will have the opportunity to learn how to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced sports and entertainment organization and meet strict deadlines. 
 
Most work hours required will be scheduled during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM), but the Video Production Intern will also be able to work during Phantoms games to gain hands-on experience capturing photo and video content during live sporting events.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Work closely with the Phantoms Creative Department and Marketing Team to create materials for promotional, marketing, sales, and advertising campaigns 
  • Capture and edit video footage 
  • Organize game day media (videos, etc.) 
  • Other duties as assigned 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
  • A college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Video Production, Media Arts, or a closely related field 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder (familiarity with additional programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom and After Effects are beneficial) 
  • Familiarity with cameras, lighting, and audio 
  • Proficiency with control room equipment (e.g. Crossfire, Xpressions, 3Play) not required, but highly preferred 
  • Basic understanding of sports and hockey is preferred but not required 
  • Prior experience managing projects and completing tasks with strict deadlines 
  • Must be able to receive Academic Credit for internship
