The Adirondack Bank Center is welcoming applications to fill part-time, Box Office Attendant positions for the 2024-25 season. 
 
Reporting to the Director of Ticket Operations, Box Office Attendants will guide guests throughout the ticket purchasing process by answering event and ticket-related inquiries and providing additional event information for current and future events at the Adirondack Bank Center. This position is expected to work cohesively with all building employees, including Utica Comets and Utica City FC staff, to maintain an elevated level of guest service.
 
Events that this role will be staffed for may include, but are not limited to, Utica Comets & Utica City FC games, Utica University Men’s Ice Hockey Games, and additional special events hosted by the building.
 
This is a part-time position that will be staffed on an as-needed basis with no set schedule. Working hours are non-traditional and can include select evenings, weekends, and holidays.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a front-facing member of the Adirondack Bank Center, providing outstanding customer service and promoting a positive event environment to all event guests and staff.
  • Operate the building’s computer ticketing system, Paciolan, to sell and print events tickets. 
  • Provide information to guests regarding the Adirondack Bank Center and building events.   
  • Assist with miscellaneous box office projects as directed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
 
 
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Can maintain a high level of professionalism as a representative of the Adirondack Bank Center.
  • Can effectively and positively communicate with guests to identify needs and offer solutions.
  • Must possess proficient math and computer skills.
  • Can develop a growing knowledge of a digital ticketing system.
  • Ability to adapt to changing game situations and manage issues occurring in real-time.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time.

COMPENSATION
This position will pay $15 per hour.
