Event Overview:
You will be working as 50/50 ticket seller at The Ohio State Home Football Games in Columbus, OH from September through November. As a 50/50 Raffle Seller at FanGate Solutions for The Ohio State Football games, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticket sales and customer service. Your role will be assisting with selling 50/50 raffle tickets where proceeds benefit THE Foundation. You will be walking through the tailgate areas, entries to the stadium, concourse levels and stadium levels 2 and 3. We are in search of eager sales people who will benefit from selling more tickets than anyone else. Do you have a competitive sales talent? Do you want to make money on what you sell? You will receive $25 for every $1000 in sales as well as $60/game.
Responsibilities:
- Selling 50/50 raffle tickets
- Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
- Cover as much of the stadium as possible
- Give accurate information on 50/50 proceeds and information
- Push to increase sales game over game
- Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
- Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
- Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
- Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
- Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Competitive sales background a plus
- Willing to travel to The Ohio State Football Stadium
- Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays
- College student majoring in hospitality, marketing, sport management, communications or related fields is a plus
- Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
- Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests’ needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
- Must be neat and presentable at all times
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED
Pay and Schedule:
Pay is $60/game + $25 commission on each $1000 in sales
5 hour shifts based upon kick off time
