OVERVIEW | CONTENT MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT  
As a strategic thinker with a big-picture mindset, you'll seamlessly integrate and collaborate with sales, marketing and business development teams to understand objectives of current and future clients.  You’ll be responsible for sourcing, creating and building content to support our teams in pursuit of new business opportunities, RFP responses and materials for Outlyr owned and operated events.  
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translating data into insights and compelling business stories and crafting dynamic content, The role requires a keen eye for detail, avid thirst for learning, implementing emerging technologies, and the ability to translate complex information into engaging and persuasive storytelling to enable our sales and marketing teams to develop business. 
 
The role will be based in Dallas, TX – Sports Business Journal’s 2023 Best Sports Business City in the USA! 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES
  • Build strong relationships with the internal Outlyr team and gain an understanding of overall business and priorities.   
  • When brands reach out, you’ll dive in to learn about their goals, listen with intention, and craft a compelling case to showcase why Outlyr is the perfect partner to help their business.
  • Develop and design high-quality sales and marketing materials inclusive of presentations, case studies and proposals for new business RFP responses.  When a brand wants to get to know us, you'll help to lead the storytelling in our response - gathering our most impressive case studies and company highlights, weaving them into a dynamic narrative that speaks directly to their interests.
  • Tailor storytelling content with smart brevity to address specific requirements with best-in-class solutions
  • Continue to evolve and elevate our case studies and sales & marketing materials to ensure they reflect our latest and greatest and most relevant, capturing the essence of unique team and our work.
  • Integrate research, data and insights to support the development content and materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with Outlyr guidelines and value proposition 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies (AI) to continuously improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of sales and marketing materials 
  • Support Outlyr events to create engaging sales materials for owned and operated events and assist team members as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Significant experience with building and responding to RFPs 
  • Proven track record in content creation including 8+ years in events and partnership sales experience 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication (writing, editing & proofreading), and presentation skills
  • Track record in translating complex information into clear and compelling content 
  • Strong project management skills, balancing multiple priorities with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and SportsDigita 
  • Significant knowledge or background in events and/or brand marketing, golf industry background a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Expectation of travel up to 25% for support of events, teammates and client engagement inclusive of weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Must be available to work full time in the Dallas Outlyr office
