POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Partnerships position is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of sponsorship & hospitality partnerships for  the Dow Championship.  The role will be based in Midland, Michigan and will report directly to Wendy Traschen, Tournament Director of the Dow Championship. 

RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES
  • Identify new prospective partners for the Dow Championship
  • Drive significant revenue through the sale of sponsorships, hospitality & experiential partnerships
  • Oversee and manage official partner program, including outreach, communication and program planning for the 2025 event
  • Develop and execute the delivery and presentation of partnership proposals  
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and community leaders
  • Manage the creation of sales presentations by identifying the objectives of brands and providing a best-in-class solution
  • Tracking and reporting of pipeline progress
  • Assist with the implementation of activation plans for all sponsors

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven track record in sales including 3-5 years of partnership sales experience 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Significant knowledge or background in the sports industry
  • Strong negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability and flexibility for weekend/holiday work as needed
  • Must be available to work full time in the Midland, MI market
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for support in other markets
