What We Want You To Accomplish:
Your primary objective is assisting in the planning and delivery of programs to help increase attendance and drive community engagement at TrackTown USA events, including but not limited to, the 50th edition of The Prefontaine Classic.

How You’ll Make An Impact:
Program Planning and Marketing (65%) - You will have direct oversight and day-to-day management of engagement plans for relevant community audiences and execution of this plan at games time. These audiences include, but are not limited to youth and families  (the TrackTown USA Kids Club), community partners, etc. Oversight will include marketing and promotion of these unique engagement programs, driving attendance at TrackTown USA-sponsored events, experiential opportunities with the TrackTown USA brand, preparing project budgets for each assigned program, ideation and implementation of plans for special events, such as the Youth Meet at the PreClassic and the Rising Stars Youth Clinic, etc.
Additionally, you will prepare and present comprehensive program reports, recaps, and evaluations to assist with defining, developing and delivering future strategic programs that result in increased attendance, community engagement and revenue generation.

Administration and Management (20%) - You will contribute as a member of the community engagement team for events relevant to TrackTown USA. You will also assist in the recruitment, hiring and management of games time staff to ensure successful and efficient delivery of all strategic programs at TrackTown USA-sponsored events.

Event Delivery (15%) - You will help deliver some of the world’s top track and field/athletics meetings in 2025.

TrackTown USA, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to setting a standard of excellence in hosting premier track and field events, creating a supportive environment for elite athletic performances, being a leader in sustainable sport practices, and inspiring the next generation of track and field athletes and fans. The organization was responsible for organizing the 2014 IAAF World Junior Championships, the 2015 2022, and 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships, the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland, and the 2016, 2020, and 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials—Track & Field. In partnership with USA Track & Field, the organization brought the 2022 World Athletics Championships to the United States for the first time. TrackTown delivers the Wanda Diamond League’s recurring Prefontaine Classic, recognized as one of the world’s best track and field meets.
