Provision activations have appeared at the world’s most high-profile events including The Olympics, The Ryder Cup, European and PGA Tour events, The Wimbledon Championships. The British Open and The Hong Kong 7s.

The Role 
  • We are seeking a Operations Manager to join the Provision Team and oversee our U.S Head Quarters in Jacksonville, Florida 
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment, for a company that delivers fan zones, activations, simulators, interior fit-outs, exhibition stands and structures at a variety of events across the globe 
  • You will have responsibility for the upkeep of the warehouse, office and meeting room environments – managing all of our assets 
  • You will be responsible for managing and developing our asset management system  
  • You will work closely with the Operations Manager, to ensure you are aware of the future event schedule and can plan ahead accordingly 
  • Working alongside the Production team, you will be responsible for picking and packing all required items ahead of each event and taking receipt of those same items when they are delivered back to the warehouse 
  • Assisting with test builds and testing of equipment pre-event 
  • Arranging repair, regular maintenance and legally required testing of assets 
  • Ensuring H&S legislation and guidance is implemented and adhered to 
  • All assets will need to be signed out by the Event Managers when they collect the kit from you pre-event and signed back in when they return post event 
  • Working with the Production team, you will be responsible for taking and processing all deliveries into the warehouse, ensuring the correct person is notified of their arrival and efficient storage of the item for future use 
  • Where necessary, you will be required to provide support for the production team, which may require travel to events or suppliers / partners 
  • Production support could include researching and purchasing required items for upcoming projects, planning logistical requirements and scheduling 
  • You will be responsible for seeing to any required maintenance, decoration and general upkeep of the warehouse, office and meeting room – working with the Company Directors to identify areas that need attention 
  • You will be responsible for company vehicle(s) upkeep, maintenance 
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that any vehicles hired by Provision for events are properly inspected when delivered to us, signed out by the Event Managers and inspected and signed back in when returned – any damage or issues are reported to Senior Management immediately 
  • Role will be primarily based in the warehouse Monday to Friday each week, with some requirements for evening and weekend work depending on the schedule 
  • We will provide the tools and training you need to fulfil the role 
  • On occasion you may be required to work as an event manager at our events both in the US and work travel overseas  
  • Travel, uniform, accommodation, and meal expenses covered if working away from home

Requirements  
  • Warehouse / office management experience is essential  
  • The successful applicant will be required to be physically fit as there will be manual work required on a daily basis 
  • Ideally, candidate should have experience in building and managing events – but not essential 
  • Self-motivated and committed to getting the job done to exact standards with tight deadlines, and in sometimes difficult conditions 
  • Good listening skills, to fully understand the requirements of each job, particularly when verbally briefed 
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and situations 
  • Forklift truck license and experience – not essential 
  • Experienced in asset Management Systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 programs including Microsoft Excel  
  • You must hold a valid driving licence and be a confident driver overseas and have the ability to drive a sprinter van as a minimum 
  • You must be prepared to work out of normal hours and at weekends. 
  • Overseas experience is desired but not essential
