A Brief Overview

The Ticketing Manager is responsible for ticket build and inventory management of large-scale events including liaising with fan clubs, VIP programs, Axs Premium etc. This position will also compile and distribute daily ticket counts to various internal departments, offices and artist management, agents and record labels.

 

What you will do

  • Collaborate with booking department on the creation of event seating maps and scalings.
  • Liaise with internal departments, artist managers, agents, fan clubs, VIP companies and other partners to gather ticketing build information for large-scale events.
  • Build and manage event builds to ensure deadlines for presales and onsales are met.
  • Manage inventory on assigned events including Axs Premium, VIP, Fan Club, etc.
  • Process ticket orders for artist management, record label, internal buys, sponsor, marketing and more.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure that fan club, VIP and other settlements are finalized for each event.
  • Oversee box office operation and management during assigned events, will call, coordinating with fan clubs on box office needs, end of night reporting, etc.
  • Other ticketing related tasks as assigned.

 

Education Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)

 

Experience Qualifications

  • 4-6 years Of related work experience including experience in the entertainment industry
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must have experience working in the music industry, specifically live entertainment
  • Experience in building ticketed events using ticketing software such as AXS.
  • Box Office experience is required. 

Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity of basic math, accounting and budgeting principals
  • Familiarity with AXS, Ticketmaster and other ticketing platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Professional
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications (ALL)

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)
  • 4-6 years Of related work experience including experience in the entertainment industry
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must have experience working in the music industry, specifically live entertainment
  • Experience in developing start-up box offices, strategies, and arena ticketing preferred
  • Box Office Experience is required

Pay Scale: $67,000.00-$86,746.00
