ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR, BRAND CONSULTING – OVERVIEW  
This role sits on Elevate Sports Ventures Brand Consulting team. The Brand Consulting vertical for Elevate focuses on consultative services and building platforms/programs within sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing with domestic and international brands. The Account Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day brand and customer team management related to client’s Major League Soccer (MLS) program including consulting, project management, research and insights, and approvals.  They will work directly with multiple clients and their agency network and report to the Senior Director, Brand Consulting.   

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Act as point person for individual Brands and Customer Teams for MLS on-boarding, consulting, guidance and insights, and rights activation; potential to extend to broader sports expertise as dictated by brand and/or customer team 
  • Collaborate with Brand and Customer Team agency teams to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns specific to their MLS partnership inclusive of activation at tentpole events, club partnership management and athlete and influencer partnerships  
  • Build relationship with client and agency leads to ensure continued collaboration throughout all stages of program development and execution 
  • Collaborate with insights team on Club and Athlete identification/recommendation and briefs 
  • Lead onsite management of client activations in and around events  
  • Develop and maintain a working level understanding of client’s industry, culture, products/services and key initiatives 
  • Monitor/report industry trends along with competitive activity specific to client category and soccer landscape 
  • Develop and maintain account service-relate tools needed to manage multiple Brands and Customer Teams, such as databases, tracking spreadsheets, status reports, and program recaps  
  • Participate in all relevant status calls (internal and external) and compile/share regular agendas and status reports

A.  Education and/or Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (agency or MLS experience preferred) 
  • Previous management experience preferred 

B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  
  • A curious mindset with strong work ethic 
  • Knowledge and experience with Major League Soccer (Sponsor, Property, Team, Agency, etc.), experience in international soccer is a plus 
  • Knowledge and experience within Brand Management and/or Shopper Marketing industry 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams to execute programs 
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and manage multiple partners and programs 
  • Strong understanding of the digital and social landscape including but not limited to audience insights, trends and analytics, previous experience working with influencers is a plus 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to present ideas, activation plans, and recap results 
  • Real-time industry knowledge and relationships in sports + entertainment 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
