WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Graphic Designer on the Events team at Elevate Creative, you will play a pivotal role in creating the fan experience by developing comprehensive graphic programs for our clients. You will be a part of a select team of skilled designers and collaborate with various stakeholders like College Football Playoff, NHL, MLB, amongst others to create compelling and effective designs that align with our clients’  brand and experiential goals. 

In order for you to be successful in this position you need to be both creative and technically-minded, task-oriented, motivated, with a team-centric attitude. 

Due to the nature of the work, certain phases of a project require an “all-hands on deck” mindset. 
The weeks that lead up to an event may call for additional support and time from all team members to ensure a successful event delivery.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work collaboratively with the project team on a day-to-day basis to deliver a project from conceptual through implementation
  • Create holistic design solutions at various scales across multiple venues such as stadiums/arenas/hotels, kit of part systems, building wraps, street banners, temporary signage, etc.
  • Develop programming strategies for messaging and signage elements within a graphic system
  • Create style guides and standards to be shared with third-party partners

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE
  • Ability to take ownership of any phase of the design process–is proactive, collaborative, but can also operate autonomously  
  • Excellent communication skills–both verbal and written         
  • Print Production experience–creating print-ready files, color selection and refinement, etc. 
  • The ability to work on multiple projects in multiple phases–working with the design team, project leadership team, as well as the ability to communicate with fabrication partners/printers as needed
  • Proficient in essential soft skills such as self-awareness, accountability, adaptability, and a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Knowledge of fabrication methods and materials is a plus
  • Brand Integration experience in Sport + Entertainment Events is a plus   

SKILLS
  • A strong conceptual eye able to evolve ideas and concepts and implement unique solutions into a graphic system
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Comfortable working in scale, familiarity with CAD tools

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Graphic Design, Environmental Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

  • Total Compensation: $50,000 - $85,000 -- compensation is based on skills and experience.
