 VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, BRAND - OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Business Development- Brand will lead the sales strategy and outreach for the agency . The right candidate is an experienced, proven seller who thrives working in an entrepreneurial, independent agency environment. Individual must have a growth mindset, be able to operate in a player/coach role and be skilled at selling a suite of services and products, inclusive, but not limited to creative services, media services, partnership consulting and activation, and SaaS-based products. Some experience within sports, music and entertainment is preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Development, execution and oversight of the business development strategy and outreach for a new entity that offers integrated media, creative and consulting services to brands
· Ability to leverage key contacts and decision makers within target companies to unlock new opportunities for the agency
· Work closely with the internal marketing team and leadership to build the go-to-market strategy and tools needed
· Ability to create strategic documents and presentations for client presentations
· Operate as the steward of the agency’s business development materials, responsible for keeping credentials and case studies updated
· Participate in new business pitches, including responses to RFIs and collaborating with internal leaders and cross disciplinary teams on RFPs
· Prepare detailed research on client prospects ahead of meetings/calls to help inform the approach
· Proactively meet with account teams to translate agency success into case study materials that can unlock new opportunities and awards
· Preparation and management of weekly reporting for standing business development meetings/calls
· Ability to use the agency’s consumer insight tools to support the business development strategy and outreach to prospects.
· Track and analyze success rates and KPIs to identify trends and make necessary adjustment to sales strategy/approach
· Develop and execute a client acquisition strategy that results in a robust and high-performing pipeline
· Nurture internal and client relationships to generate additional revenue opportunities
· Generate high quality leads through spearheading strategic outbound prospecting, networking, and leveraging marketing levers
· Lead the end-to-end sales process, designing custom client solutions based on excellent business and functional diagnosis
· Act as the first point of contact for all New Business prospects and opportunities
· Prepares SOWs in partnership with the New Business and Client Service teams
· Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on sales process improvement, material creation and optimization and department growth
· Closely partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and client on-boarding
· Collaborate with cross-functional and centralized marketing team on strategies to maximize lead generation potential
· Develop robust sales opportunities from the above activity that result in new business wins to exceed target
· Proactively monitor performance against OKRs and KPIs, and communicate progress with leadership
· Be present in the industry scene and network effectively at local events

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Be an advocate for our customers by being the primary contact for customers and be in regular communication with customers to assess customer satisfaction and react to any issues.
- Compile industry consumer insights, trend data, campaign, and case studies from various platforms to assemble client facing materials for the purpose of selling through products. Collect and analyze data related to customers target demographics and users, advising them on best practices of reaching intended audience.
- Present back to customers tangible case studies and product demonstrations to illustrate successful use of product.
- Responsible for being expertly aware of customers competitors, helping them to create unique marketing strategies. Closely monitor industry trends and trade literature to expertly speak to customers about state of the industry and guide them to adapt strategies.
- Attend trade conferences to meet with customers and prospective customers educating them on company software. Develop and implement various procedures for company teams to service customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have five (5+) years of sales experience working for an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, or senior agency.
- Must have five (5+) years of experience meeting company revenue goals, including developing strong client relationships at media agencies, pitching capabilities and customizing ad tech products and services to meet their programmatic needs, and using Salesforce (or similar CRM) to track and report revenue.
- Must have communication experience, including speaking with C-level clients to pitch ad tech products and services within a large media agency-
- Must have three negotiation experience including building commercial endeavors and rate cards and sales strategy.
- This role is highly involved in all stages of the new business and the lead generation process, from marketing strategy to CRM management.
· Proven sales and business development success with an integrated agency background or comparable experience at a technology services company
· Direct experience selling a services model to large brands
· History of building long-standing clients relationships

· Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform proactively and independently, as needed

· Experience using CRM systems and platforms to manage outreach and the sales progress
· Experience in the development and participation of new business pitches and client presentations
