Job Summary:
The Sales Representatives will be responsible for selling all Detroit Tigers Spring Training and Lakeland Flying Tigers ticket packages, hospitality inventory, sponsorship inventory all while providing outstanding service to our guests and clients. This position is located in Lakeland, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sale of all group ticket packages including hospitality spaces, party suites, picnics, group tickets, and birthday parties.
  • Responsible for assisting in the renewal of all group sales assets.
  • Conduct daily cold calls to prospective clients.
  • Holding weekly meetings off site and on site with potential clients.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining customer database.
  • Collecting data from current clients in the form of surveys and enter to win contests.
  • Work to generate new leads and creative ways to sell tickets.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele.
  • Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients.
  • Actively research and prospect new sales leads.
  • Assist at games and other special events on an as need basis.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Sports Management or related degree.
  • Sales and/or customer services experience a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, phone and organizational skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel; plus database management skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.


Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday hours required.
