The Accounts Receivable department is a shared service for KIMN, KXKL, KKSE (FM/AM), Altitude Sports & Entertainment, Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), and Outdoor Sportsman Group

 

Nature of Work:

This position supports KSE Media AR Team and Director in the day-to-day functions including, but not limited to billing, cash receipts, collections, service to internal and external customers.   

 

Examples of work performed:

  • Coverage for AR team members during planned or unplanned absences
  • Answer questions from the AR team regarding systems and processes
  • Assist with collections on accounts that need to be elevated while maintaining customer relationships
  • Monitor severely delinquent accounts and make recommendations to AR Director for more aggressive collection efforts
  • Check multimedia and custom bill plan orders for accurate order entry
  • Prepare and/or review monthly AR and deferred revenue account reconciliations
  • Assist AR Director with developing and improving internal processes, creating/maintaining training documents and SOPs
  • Assist AR team with updating and maintaining credit limits within multiple AR subledgers
  • Quarterly revenue reconciliations
  • Year-end audit responsibilities for tax and fiscal years
  • Act as a sounding board for the AR Director
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    1. High School or GED
    2. 3 to 5 years of accounts receivable experience or a degree in accounting
  • Preferred
    1. Experience with Wide Orbit and Great Plains a plus

 

 

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Some general ledger experience
  • Ability to learn and understand multiple lines of business and software systems, intercompany experience is a plus
  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a high volume of requests and adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to proactively step in to support other AR team members or AR Director
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization to make actionable recommendations

 

Compensation:

  • Base hourly range $28.85-$31.25 per hour
