THE ROLE   

Legends Global Merchandise is looking for a resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious individual. This person will bring his/her administrative, communication and creativity skills to work closely with the Operations Manager and Merchandise Manager to support The Ohio State retail team. This individual will assist with the day-to-day operations for all Ohio State Team Shop locations across athletic facilities. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Merchandise, inventory, and maintain all in season athletic retail locations on a weekly basis. 
  • Create multi-platform social media posts. 
  • Complete projects given and present to leadership. 
  • Communicates with Program Team to ensure availability of merchandise; maintain accurate inventory.
  • Visually Merchandise up to 15 locations with direction of managers.
  • Support the daily operational focus and or initiatives by helping productivity.
  • Assist in inventory and receiving merchandise.
  • Assist with moving any equipment as required for events.
  •  Other tasks and projects as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Strong time management and project management skills; ability to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious.
  • Current college Junior or Senior with 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA (Fashion Merchandising/Sports Management/Operations/Marketing major, or related field).
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds in weight.
  • Availibilty of around 20 hours each week including weekends.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Internship Timeline

  • Internship timeline – 16 weeks (Spring Semester)
  • 20-30 hours expected each week.
