LEGENDS / WISCONSIN ATHLETICS

University of Wisconsin selected Legends Global Sales to assist in the marketing and development of Camp Randall’s south end zone premium seating. This project has provided various new premium seating options with Camp Randall, Wisconsin’s football stadium.

In addition to the premium seating offerings, Legends has been hired to oversee and manage various areas within Wisconsin Athletics, Development and Marketing department. Legends focus with the goal of driving revenue around the new premium seating offerings, athletic ticketing (football, men’s & women’s basketball, men’s & women’s hockey, women’s volleyball, and wrestling), annual athletic donations, and grow the overall connectivity and engagement with all Badger fans.   

THE ROLE   

The web and app product manager oversees the functionality of the website and app, evaluates and manages website performance, and develops, maintains and updates website and app content.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading UWBadgers.com and the Badgers app.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting all web and app issues
  • Conduct regular content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information on the website
  • Creating appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy at the direction of Head of Brand Marketing
  • Ensuring website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans
  • Improving the user experience of the website regularly
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and revenue growth
  • Work with external partners, including SIDEARM, but also other integrations
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions and spot industry and user trends
  • Create strategies to grow app users and web traffic metrics
  • Helps to develop and implement push notification strategy for Badgers app
  • Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites
  •  Integrate with marketing department in the execution of digital marketing/advertising campaigns. 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 2 years minimum of work experience as a website manager
    • Experience in Sidearm and support of NCAA Division I Athletics digital tools is encouraged
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills
  • Project management ability and fantastic time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong understanding and experience of HTML, CSS and content management systems
  • Exposure to responsive design techniques
  • Commitment to user-friendly and creative designs that are also accessible and inclusive
  • Adobe Suite experience (photoshop for editing photos/graphics)
  • Copyediting experience
  • Google Analytics experience
