Human Resources: Human Resources Generalist
SUMMARY: The Human Resources  Administrator is responsible for managing day-to-day HR tasks, specifically in the company’s HRIS system. Administers human resources activities and programs to include staffing, compensation, benefits and training.  Assists with new hire orientation and employee onboarding and offboarding.  If you’re looking to grow your skills in HR this is a great opportunity to do so in a fast paced, dynamic team environment!   
 
This position is in person a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday-Friday, in either our Woburn, MA or Glenview, IL office.  
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assists employees and supervisors with administration of day-to-day HR policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with company objectives and federal and state legal requirements.  
  • Assists with administration of the hiring process, including but not limited to creation and placement of job postings, scheduling of candidate interviews, coordination with candidates and employee offers, conducting background and reference checks, issuing job confirmation letters and other internal communication, and onboarding into the company’s HRIS system. 
  • Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process. 
  • Assists the HR business partners and HR leadership with various human resources generalist activities and projects 
  • Coordinates administration for various Leaves and workers’ compensation and unemployment claims 
  • Manage general employee inquiries in the HR inbox. 
  • Assists in administration of company compensation and benefits programs. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.  
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience in recruiting and staffing. 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. 
  • Maintains absolute discretion in matters of confidentiality. 
  • Knowledge of benefits administration a plus.
